The phrase comes from a 2010 Alaska special of the MBC variety show Infinite Challenge. An elderly Korean resident was prompted to shout “Muhan Dojeon!” but joyfully said “Mu-ya-ho~” instead. Jung Hyung-don’s follow-up line, roughly “that means he’s that excited,” helped the moment become memorable. The clip later resurfaced online and spread as a nostalgic meme for expressing goofy excitement.
